On May 15, Katy Greenland (Senior Consultant, Health & Life Sciences at Catalyze) and Carolina Vieira (Senior Science Communication Advisor at Catalyze) will host a session on top tips and best-practices for crafting strategic and impactful communication and dissemination sections in EU-funded project proposals.
In this session, you’ll explore: How to align your communication and dissemination strategy with EU expectations. Insights and tips on how to ensure a smooth transition from proposal writing to post-award implementation. How to plan for impact and meaningful stakeholder engagement.
Katy Greenland
Katy has written grants for over 12 years, mostly focused on research grants in health, as well as other grants including fellowships and network grants. As a senior consultant at Catalyze, she writes, coordinates and reviews grant applications and delivers training on innovations in health, life sciences, technology, pharmaceutical, medical devices and other areas across a range of European and national programs. Before joining Catalyze, she worked for the European Commission as a consultant for two years on EU-wide non-communicable disease programmes, worked as a Grant Manager for a medical education company, and was a Research Coordinator at the University of Melbourne. As a sociologist, her favourite section of grants is always the impact section.
Carolina Vieira
Carolina is an experienced science communicator with a background in multimedia design and nutrition sciences. With over five years of experience in EU-funded research projects, she combines scientific insight with design thinking to create effective communication and dissemination strategies. She currently leads a team and oversees communication activities across more than eight EU-funded projects, ensuring that scientific innovation is conveyed clearly and impactfully.
